Week 13 Gun projectiles and nuzzle effect.

This week I have been editing the blueprints of my turret so that I can not only have custom projectiles and cases coming out of my gun, but also a custom nuzzle flash.

Because I wanted to add a magical twist to my gun, I changed the muzzle ash into a slightly glowing magical circle, this was to give the effect of the projectile getting summoned and shot at the player, as they would not see the light travelling down the barrel.

Admittedly the flash requires a bit more work as the glow is not very strong and it looks a tat cartoonish right now. If I could I would lower the rate of fire in the turret and make it so that the circle would be slowly drawn before firing, this would not only act as a signal to get out of the lie of fire for the player, it would also make the circle look like its being drawn out and the spell being cast properly, not just a magic circle appearing then disappearing.

The cases I created where simple golden cases with the ends blown off, much like shot gun shells. I imagine the projectile (a sphere of arcane energy) would be summoned by the circle, the cases acting as batteries that are thrown away after firing.
