24 foliage and trees

Today I started making some very simple bushes. I’m making them to not only fill up space in the level with foliage and greenery as a forest should be, but the trees and bushes I am making act as a barrier to stop the player from wondering off the path.

I’m mostly making the trees in zbrush using zspheres because then everything is likened together when I add detail and I find zbrush is better for organic shapes. However making the tree low poly is difficulty as zremesher makes the topology odd (for instance creating nested verts), so I tend to fix it in 3dsmax. I then reimport the mesh into zbrush, sculpt and bake the details to the low poly then add foliage using alphas in 3dsmax.
